SMAC .... Welcome to Our Home!

If you build it they will come , was never a truer statement. You might think my husband jeff and I were crazy to put up a music all behind our 200 year old farmhouse in our rural Maine neighborhood…. but we we did and you do come!!! We are nestled in the foothills of the White Mountains, just over the border from NH in Brownfield, Maine. Two unique barn spaces are located just a drive up a country road, with the mountains as your guide. When you reach the top there with it's red clapboards, this special year round performance space and barn cafe towers over our  old farmhouse providing you with a dramatic audience and dining experience you will not soon forget. I am a musician..singer songwriter , and Jeff was a fishing net builder. Now we run this most talked about place up on the hill. Together we have turned our home into yours, Welcome to SMAC!! We have lots to offer..see below and see you 'round the hood!

The Stone Mountain Arts Center
hosts national acts up close and personal; in our intimate timber frame hall. Acts Like Lyle Lovett, Brandi Carlile, Los Lobos, Aaron Neville, Mary Chapin Carpenter and more have graced our Maine Concert Hall Stage. Dinner is served before most shows by reservation and wine and beer is also available. The Maine Concert Hall is also available for private functions and weddings. Check out our current schedule. Check out who you have missed.
COVID 19 Update

Lots of artists and shows will be effected. The best weapon we have is patience. Hang in there and please visit our Covid Announcement Update page regularly for updates.

With the recent surge of Covid cases many of our artists and customers are needing a vaccinated environment to remain committed to come to SMAC. We obviously can't afford another rash of cancellations by our customers or performers... so we are implementing the following policy:
* PROOF OF VACCINATION or a negative (within 48 hours) Covid test is required upon arrival to attend this concert. FDA approved Rapid home tests are okay ... you can get them at most drug stores now for about $10 - $15 a test. Please bring proof to check in.
* MASKS are required when not seated at your table and our staff will be masked as well. PLEASE NOTE --- Some artists may request masks to be worn during the show when they perform. So please be prepared for this possibility without notice.
* IMPORTANT: We cannot be responsible for your health decisions. Before you order a ticket or attend an event here … be aware being indoors anywhere with this contagious virus with lots of people is a risk…a risk not everyone should take. By visiting our establishment, you voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19, a virus that can lead to severe illness and in some cases death. There is no guarantees that you will not be exposed no matter what precautionery policy is in place.
* A note from the owners: Jeff and I don't care what you believe or don't believe.…really!! We just want to protect our business from going through what we did last year…for our sakes, our staff's sakes, our artist's sakes, and our customer's sakes. We don't want live music to go away again!!
